Geometrical Optics, Properties of The Basic Optical Components, Imaging, Wave Optics, Diffraction Phenomena (near and Far Field), Interference Phenomena and Coherence, Fourier Transform and Spatial Filtering, Optical Detectors and Analyzers, Spectrum of Light, Fiber Optics, Lasing, Optical Signal Amplification. Each Student Has to Complete 2 Out of 3 Proposed Experiments. Each Experiment Consists of 2 Meetings, 4 Hours Each. in Addition, Students Are Required to Perform Preparatory and Summary Tasks For Each Experiment.
