הקורס מטפל בנושאים הקלסיים של אנליזה נומרית. הנושאים העיקריים שיילמדו במסגרת הקורס הם: אינטרפולציה של פונקציה של משתנה אחד, גזירה נומרית של פונקציה של משתנה אחד ושל כמה משתנים, אינטגרציה נומרית של פונקציה של משתנה אחד, פתרונות איטרטיביים למשוואות אלגבראיות לא ליניאריות.
