Basic Information
The Course Will Provide Students With Comprehensive Knowledge of The Nutritional Requirements of Humans Along The Healthy Lifespan And Different Target Populations With The Prospect of Fabricating Tailored And Personalized Foods. Students Will Learn of The Specific Nutritional Requirements (athletes, Celiac Patients, People With Food Allergies), Populations With Specific Nutritional Preferences (kosher, Vegetarian, Vegan) and The Possibility of Personalized Nutrition. Learning Outcomes# Upon Succsessful Completion of This Course, Students Will Be Able to Describe and Detail The Unique Nutritional Needs and Preferences# 1. Along The Healthy Human Lifespan. 2. Amongst Populations With Specific Needs and The Challenges in The Manufacturing of Tailored Foods. 3. For Populations With Specific Preferences.
