Basic Information
The Revolution in Dna Sequencing Technologies During The Last Decade Has Enabled The Sequencing of Tens of Thousands of Cancer Tumors, Both Their Dna and Rna. Large Scale Sequencing Initiatives, Such As The Cancer Genome Atlas (tcga), Revolutionized Both Our Understanding Of Cancer Biology and The Way Treatment Is Provided to Patients. in This, Course, Students Will Receive a Brief Introduction to Cancer Development and an Overview of The Dna/rna Next Generation Sequencing (ngs) Technologies. The Course Will Emphasize How These Tools Can Be Applied to Various Datasets, and How This Analysis Can Lead to Better Diagnosis and Determine Treatment Decisions. Learning Outcomes# at The End of The Course The Stuents Will# 1. Understand The Bioinformatics Tools Needed For Analzing The Output Data of The Sequencing Devices. 2. How to Apply Them For Various Datasets.
