Novelty and Perspective of 2d Materials, Material Structure and Energy Band Diagram, Electrical Properties (mobility, Phonons), Optical Properties (absorbtion, Excitons), Contacts, Growth and Transfer, Van Der Waals Heterostructures, 2d Photodetectors, 2d Optical Modulators, 2d Light Sources. Learning Outcomes# The Student Will Get Familiar With Optical and Electrical Properties Of Two-dimensional Materials and Will Know How to Implement Those Properties in Optoelectronic Devices, Applications, and Systems On-chip. The Students Will Get Exposed to Multiple Examples Of Silicon Photonic and Optoelectronic Devices Integrated With To-dimensional Materials. By The End of The Course, The Students Will Establish a Sufficient Knowledge Base to Understand and Analyze State Of-the-art Research and Results in The Field.
