Basic Information
The Communication Course For Graduate Students Aims to Improve Oral Academic and Professional Communication Skills, As Required In Presentations, Meeting Management, and Intercultural Communication. Most Importantly, The Course Provides an Opportunity For Practical Exercises, Performed Individually, in Pairs and in Teams. Moreover, Time Is Allotted For Peer and Instructor Feedback._ Learning Outcomes# at The End of The Course The Students Will Be Able To# 1. to Produce and Present an Oral Academic Presentation With A Professional Style and Academic Structure._ 2. to Present Themselves in The Elevator Pitch Format, I.e., To Professionally Introduce/present Themselves in One Minute. 3. to Hold a Professional Conversation in Both Formal and Informal Styles - and to Conduct Meetings. 4. to Share and Debate Ideas and Scientific Arguments. 5. to Write Formal Emails and Letters in English in a Polite And Professional Way. 6. to Apply, Using Proper Academic Style, For Graduate Studies, Internships, and Jobs As Well As Collaborate With Other Labs And Universities._ 7. to Conduct Regular Professional Communication in a Polite And Acceptable Manner._ 8. to Produce Texts and Speeches For Various Audiences - Professional, Academic and Lay Audiences.
