The Course Will Cover The Basic Aspects of The Biology of Bacteria. Topics Will Include Morphology and Function of The Bacterial Cell, Physiology, Genetics, Genomics, Evolution and Systematics Of Bacteria, Inter-bacterial Communication, Bacteriophages, Host-pathogen Interactions, The Microbiome, Mechanisms of Action Of Antibiotics and Bacterial Resistance Mechanisms, Sterilization Methods.
