In Recent Years There Is a Significant Increase in The Amount Of Biological Data Available in Digital Formats. Thus, Often, The Bottleneck in Many Projects Is The Ability to Analyze The Data Rather Than Data Acquisition. in This Course The Students Will Learn The Basic Skills For Analysis of Large Datesets. The Use of Available Databases and How to Import Data From Them. The Course Will Emphasize The Hands-on Approach and Students Will Practice The Studied Methods. The Course Will Cover# Basic Statistics, Data Import, Data Visualization, Linear Regression, Dimensional Reduction, Clustering Analysis, Classifiers, Multiple Testing Correction and Basic Image Analysis. Learning Outcomes# The Student Will Know The Background of The Main Computational Methods and Tools That Are Used to Analyze Large Biological Datasets.
