Company Challenges Are The First Part of The Project-driven Curriculum At Jacobs, and Are an Integral Part of The Education of Learning By Building. in The Company Challenges, Students Respond to Challenges Posed By Leading Startups, Companies, and Organizations in Nyc, And Engage in a Group to Deliver Technology Solutions and Work Together In Cross-campus Teams That Include Students From Multiple Programs And Specialization. The Teams Build Real Prototypes and Technology, Develop Business Plans to Tackle The Challenge and Demonstrate Their Work to The Organization at The End of The Semester. Company Challenges Go Beyond a Problem to Solve Or Work to Be Done--they Require a Thought Provoking Idea Or Challenge Posed By The Company That Gives Students The Freedom to Explore Different Paths Toward Breakthrough Ideas and Prototypes.
