Basic Information
The Course Will Be Given in English, Intending to Present All The Relevant Aspects of The Fuel Cell Technology. The Main Topics That Will Be Discussed Will Include# Introduction, Basic Principles, Advantages/disadvantages, Comparison With Batteries, Applications, Limitations, Current State-of-the-art, Type of Fuel Cells, Fuels, Oxidants, Electrochemical Reactions, Fuel Cell Operation Characterization, Fuel Cell Materials, Membrane Electrode Assembly And Fuel Cell Stacks. At The End of The Course The Students Will Be Able To# 1. Understand The Basics of Fuel Cell Technology 2. Understand The Technology, Its Applications, Advantages and Disadvantages Over Other Electrochemical Devices. 3. Analyze The Current Challenges of The Technology, State-of-the-art Performance, and to Understand The Components and Requirements to Develop a Successful Fuel Cell Device.
