Basic Information
The Social Status of The Medieval Jewish Woman Was Secondary To That of The Same Class Man. However, This Picture Is Not Clear Cut, and Has Many Significant Exemptions. The Course Will Examine Different Subjects, Such As The Methods of Marriage and Its Age, Monogamy Vs. Polygamy, Observation of Commanments, Violence Against Women and Their Exploitation and So On. Comparisons With The Parallel Christian and Muslim Societies Will Be Made, Uncovering Possible Influences.
