The Aim of The Course Is to Expose The Student to The Medical Profession By Learning and Experiencing The Hospital And Ambulatory Medical Systems, Understanding Disease and Illness, The Hospitalized Patient Experience and The Physician Work. In Addition The Student Will Learn and Practice Basic Concepts In Communication and Doctor Patient Relationships. The Course Is Taught in Small Groups of Up to 10 Students and Is Based Upon Clinical Visits and Observations, Discussions With Physicians And Interviews With Patients.
