Participation in Scientific Communication Activities in Authentic Media Outlets. Students Spends 4 Hours Per Week in a Media Outlet Participating in Research and Production of Science Stories. Students Are Required to Submit a Portfolio Demonstrating The Development Of Their Skills and Understanding. Learning Outcomes# Upon Completion Of This Course The Student Will Be Able To# 1. Understand The Social and Media Contexts of Science Communication. 2. Identify and Develop Suitable Science Stories For Specific Media Audience and Pitch The Stories to The Editor. 3. Use Various Traditional and New Media to Engage Heterogonous Audiences. 4. Use Aspects of Style Creatively# Humor, Emotions, Anecdotes, Local References. 5.
