The Purpose of The Course Is to Train The Student in Computer Applications That Are Relevant to Urban and Regional Planning. The Applications Are# Project Planning and Control Using The Critical Path Method, Computer Mapping, Two Dimensional Graphic Diagrams (organizational and Flow Charts), Three Dimensional Spatial Modelling Of Buildings and Places, Quantitative Urban Applications On Electronic Spreadsheets, Statistical Analysis, Linear Programming and Its Applications. The Course Will Rely On a "hands On" Approach, Using Classroom Examples and Exercises. Homework Assignments Will Complement And Enhance The Class Work. Each Student Will Also Be Responsible For A Personal Project.
