The Purpose of The Course Is to Expose The Students to The State Of The Art in Modeling, Rendering and Animation. Emphasis Will Be Put On Principles and On Developing Skills. The Course Will Include By Short Exercises and a Project On The Computer. Three Dimensional Representation# Polygons, Curved Surfaces, Fractal Geometry, Solid Modeling, Octrees. 3d Coordinate System and 2d Projection Systems. 3d Transformations. Lighting Principles# Ambient, Distant, Point and Spot Lights. Light Source# Angle and Distance. Shading# Constant, Gouraud and Phong Shading. Ray Tracing And Radiosity. Models For Defining Colors in Computers. Principles For Modeling Materials# Light Reflection Properties, Roughness, Texture Mapping. Views and Scenes, Animation and Virtual Reality.
