The Course Will Cover Meteorological Phenomena and Their Relationships To Air Quality Issues. Topics to Be Covered Include# Meteorological Phenomena at Various Spatiotemporal Scales, Israeli Weather Systems, The Planetary Boundary Layer, Turbulence, Logarithmic Wind Profile Heat and Matter Fluxes in The Atmosphere, Canopy Flow, Cloud Physics And Precipitaion. Learning Outcomes# At The End of The Course The Student Will# 1. Be Familiar With Different Meteorological Phenomena With Different Spatiotemporal Scales. 2. Be Familiar With The Main Models to Describethese Phenomena. 3. Be Able to Solve Quantitative Problems Based On The Above Models. 4. Be Able to Analyze and Present in Class Scientific Texts That Discuss The Above Issues. 5. Be Able to Discuss The Relationships Between Meteorological Phenomena at Varying Spatiotemporal Scales and Air Pollution.
