Basic Information
The Aim of This Course Is to Provide The Student With The Basic Concepts of Meteorology in General and Micrometeorology in Particular, Stressing Agricultural Applications. Study of The Processes Of Momentum, Energy and Mass Transfer Near The Ground Leads To Quantitative Solutions of Problems Related to The Surface Energy Balance. Chapters# Radiative Heat Transfer, Solar Radiation, Long Wave Radiation, Momentum Transfer, Mixing Length, Logarithmic Wind Profile, Canopy Flow, Atmospheric Stability, Richardson's Number, Convective Transfer, Soil Heat Flow, Energy Balance.
