During The Renaissance, Man's Identity and Beliefs Changed Dramatically, As Well As His Material Surroundings. The Course Regards The "court" As The Cradle of Renaissance Culture, And Analyses Art, Architecture, and Designed Landscape Developing At The Courts of Urbino, Ferrara, Mantua, Florence, Milano And Roma (15th-17th Centuries). Learning Outcomes# Student Will Acquire Basic Concepts On The Italian Renaissance, Through The Analysis of Representative Case-studies. The Course Will Provide The Necessary Tools Enabling The Recognition of Major Works of Art, Architecture And Designed Landscape of That Period. Further, an Understanding Of The Historic, Philosophical, Social and Scientific Background Charateristic of The Renaissance, As Part of The History Of Culture, Will Be Gained.
