ניתנים שני נושאים מתוך השלושה המוצעים. 1. סטריאוכימיה: כירליות, קונפורמציה במערכות אציקליות ובציקלוהקסאן. סטריאוכימיה ומנגנון בריאקצית סיפוח, אלימינציה ושחלופים. 2. פוטוכימיה: מצבים מעוררים של מולקולות אורגניות, העברת אנרגיה, נצולת קוונטית, טכניקות בפוטוכימיה, תגובות, כולל אלקנים ( ויטמין D ) בקטונים רוויים ובלתי רוויים, אנרגית השמש. 3. כללי וודוורד-הופמן: אורביטלים מולקולריים של מולקולות אורגניות, סימטריה, דיאגרמות קורלציה, כללי סימטריה וארומטיות ויישומם לתגובות אלקטרוציקליות, ציקלואדיציה ושחלופים סיגמאטרופיים (יידונו תגובות תרמיות ופוטוכימיות).
